Call for Papers
Conference on global perspectives on re-entry, is organised by the Department of Political Science and International Relations (University of Tampere Finland) and the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences (Marquette University USA) in cooperation with two ex-convict organisations (Convict Criminology in the USA and CRIS {Criminals Returning into Society} from Scandinavia), and with Tampere Graduate Centre for Social Sciences (TAMCESS).
Re-entry happens when incarceration ends. Re-entry is the process by which a former prisoner rejoins his or her community as a free citizen. Coming home from prison is an intense personal experience.
